Dr. Michael Havel DDS MS

Dr. Havel graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he finished summa cum laude and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Upon graduating he moved down to Dallas, TX where he completed his orthodontic residency at Texas A&M University and earned a master’s degree in Oral Biology as well as his certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. More importantly, this is where he met his wife, Rachel, and they decided to plant their roots.

Upon graduating Dr. Havel was able to obtain board certification, allowing him to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics - an achievement only 1/3 of orthodontists obtain. He then went on to finish numerous courses on clear aligner therapy, including the Aligner Intensive Fellowship.

While crafting smiles might be his lifelong professional interest, outside of orthodontics Dr. Havel enjoys spending time with his son, goldendoodle and wife hiking, traveling and exploring their community. He has actually been to all 50 states and 57 national parks! Dr. Havel and his wife are actively involved in their surrounding community and church and he looks forward to treating those he gets the privilege to share a community with.

DR. AARON SWAPP DMD MS

Dr. Swapp graduated from UNLV Dental School, where he finished summa cum laude and was given the Dean’s Award for Top Academic Honors. He continued his dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry and earned a master’s degree in oral biology and orthodontics. He was awarded the Baylor Orthodontic Oscar for the best treated orthodontic case in his class.

Following his training, Dr. Swapp was asked to join the teaching faculty at Baylor, where he has published multiple orthodontic research articles. He received the Watson Award, which is given to the highest-rated research article of the year in the most prestigious orthodontic journal. Dr. Swapp is also board certified. A distinction that has only been achieved by 33% of orthodontists.

Outside of orthodontics, he enjoys spending time with family, restoring old cars, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. He and his family are active in their church and community and are avid supporters of the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Swapp has served as a Boy Scout leader for several years and is an Eagle Scout himself. He’s looking forward to meeting you soon!
